Tripod Turnstile is a type of access control gate designed to manage pedestrian flow in a controlled manner. It features three rotating arms arranged in a tripod shape, which allow one person to pass at a time when access is granted.

1. Tripod Arms: Three horizontal arms set at 120° angles that rotate to permit passage.

2. Housing Unit: Steel or stainless steel body containing the mechanism.

3. Control Mechanism: Allows or restricts arm movement via:

   • RFID/card readers

   • Biometric scanners

   • Ticketing systems

   • Push-button or remote access
