Electromagnetic locks, commonly known as maglocks, are high-security devices used to secure glass doors in commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. These locks work using electromagnetism to hold the door closed until power is removed or access is granted via an integrated access control system (e.g., keypad, RFID reader, biometric system).

A Glass Door Electromagnetic Lock is a fail-safe locking mechanism that uses a magnet and an armature plate to secure a door.
